Social Care Personal Assistant



**Job title ** Social Care Personal Assistant



**Hours ** 4 hrs per week



**Location ** **Benwell**



**Rates of pay** £10.00 per hour





Personal Assistant required for a young girl, who has a strong personality. Who has a rare form of Epilepsy, challenging behavior and requires having a strict low protein diet.

The purpose of this job is to support her to attend community-based activities such as swimming, going shopping and attending the theater.

Initially the PA role will support her in accessing community based activities outside of her own home, eventually moving to supporting her to spending time with her friends.



We are ideally looking for someone with experience of working with young adults with challenging behaviors, who has a calm and supportive nature but who can also take control and be confident in dealing with challenging situations.



You will be required to work up to 8 hour per week. Hours will be discussed at interview.



You should be enthusiastic, confident, and outgoing. Please refer to job description for more information on the role.
